Interested in research, training adults in scouting, mentorship, interacting with scouts at all levels which make me to appreciate the founder's idea.
Am lecturer at Makerere university and kyambogo university
I was born in 31/121971 and I become a scout in1980 when l joined St. Aloysius Mitala Maria (boys' school). I was the girl in the school because I used to go to class with my aunt (Rev. Sr. Semeo)who was a teacher in the school. My scout leader , Rev. Br. Yakobo of Banakalori brother was a charismatic scout leader and he used to expose us on simulative activities like band playing, hikes , scouting spirit , well planned camps and service activities in the nearby community. Since then I been a scout. I went through the complete youth program and the adult training for both unit leader and trainers. Am 45 year old in scouting.
I enjoy to play my role as trainer because when meet adults in scouting l feel very good.
I have got medals which motivated and that of the HE President of Uganda of contributing to the development. I feel great when I remember that day when it was warded to me by himself. I become a few of the scout a warded of the president and the first trainer in Uganda.

The scouting movement has among the many young people accorded me non conventional education based on scout promise and law allowing me to enhance my leadership, communication and interpersonal skills which have played a key role in shaping me to be an agent of positive change in my family, community, country and living as a global citizen to contribute in creating a better world.

Kintu Denis is an exemplary figure in the scouts youth leadership of Uganda Scout Association. His scouting odyssey commenced in 2006 as a Cub Scout, and through unwavering commitment, he has navigated the ranks from Cub Scout to Rover Scout and now serves as the national youth leader.
Educational Foundation and Impact: A proud alumnus of Makerere University, Kintu graduated with a Bachelor of Science with Education, a testament to his dedication as an educationist. His scouting narrative is rich with leadership roles, from serving as a Troop Leader for the Amazon Scouts Troop at Lubiri Secondary School during his Venture Scout years, then a committee member of the Paxtu rover scouts at Makerere University, to founding the Simba Scouts Uganda an open troop which has inspired and nurtured many young minds, an initiative which has significantly bolstered scouting’s impact, particularly in educational settings. As a Rover Scout, he galvanized a movement that championed the scouting ethos across numerous schools in Kampala, Mpigi and Wakiso district.
Leadership Evolution: Kintu’s influence within the scouting community was formally recognized in 2017 when he was elected as the District Youth Representative on the Wakiso District Scout Council. His leadership journey culminated in 2022 with his election as the Chairperson of the National Scout Youth Forum and Youth Male representative on the National Scout Board of the Uganda Scout Association.
